Not a very good day, on the whole; see post. I did get a walk in, had a good conversation with [livejournal.com profile] pocketnaomi, and got a first cut at Tempered Glass's Baycon concert up on the web.

Colleen was in a lot of pain from arthritis, so we didn't get to the Greek Festival, either.

I think my main source of pain right now is the FSA receipts, which have to be in today in order to not lose what's left of my balance from 2008. Ugh. And I really need to decide whether to go to my 40th college reunion. Probably not, at the rate things are going: it's in less than three weeks, and I don't think I can safely leave Colleen for a weekend. Plus the amount of vacation I've burned through so far this year. Something of a relief, actually.

...and I have to find a place that's open so I can fax all those pages. I expect you have fewer pages than I will, as most of mine are for meds, at $5 or $30 A POP. You have surgery expenses at higher rates, I think. I will have fewer than 20 pages to fill out, but then there's pasting all those receipts on a page and labelling properly.

Feh. I prefer this year's method by Aetna at least, in dealing with copays. They pay them up front--no copays to mind the receipts for.

I am done, but after:
trips to three different fax machines, one of them twice, as one page was left behind somehow
faxes at 1.50 a page (32 pp. faxed)
and too much hurry up and wait
8 solid hours of work before Kurt could sign 21 pages

bleah. Our ability to fax and scan here is problematic. No time to buy a new one, though, after Friday's news, eh?

I *could* have gone to Ricoh, but only at the cost of dragging Kurt along with his keys.It certainly would have been easier and cheaper.

and in your case, you didn't leave your receipts in the bag you tossed--like your boss, who has only pills at the highest tier. I don't think we're going to get to $3000 this year, even though I know we had more than that in OOP expenses. Neither therapist gives receipts, to make matters hairier.
