  * 5ish snuggle
  * up 7:40; W=192.4; coffee; drugs, nose, teeth
  * Walgreen's: buy briefs.  First thing.
  & Weekend of 0822 looks good for me to go to Seattle
    N's ok with our missing Orycon if she gets to see me this month.
  & Call from N -- that weekend is C's birthday!!
  * short walk
  * put some stuff-totes in the car, leave some at work.
  * pay bills due early next week
  * LJ tag: ssri -> nt (for NeuroTransmitters)

  * Called Mom
  * Did some writing
  * bath; bed ~11:30

Not really a very productive day, especially at work. Something about relaxing after several weeks of blind alleys, last-minute fixes, successful teamwork, and a demo that worked perfectly when it had to. Mostly, I caught up on the last two weeks worth of Linux Weekly News, went to a meeting, and talked to people about this, that, and the other thing.

The thing I feel especially good about is picking the weekend of August 22nd (the last weekend before school starts) to go up to Seattle. I got a happy phone call from pocketnaomi saying that, by sheer coincidence, it's the weekend of cflute's birthday! We win!

Colleen was teary and frustrated in the evening; she very much wants me to go, but also wants to go too, which would be flatly impossible for several reasons. I spent most of the evening in the living room with her, and we snuggled a lot; that helps.

One goal for this weekend is figuring out just which days work best for the Seattle trip. There are a lot of stacked-up chores and other things; I have no idea whether I'll get to very many of them.

Well, I am going to do my best to sneak down as well, so I can see you again, in a Non-Con atmosphere...my b'day's the 23rd...so I may actually get to come down AND get paid for being off work! :D Either way, I am going to get down there for at least a day. To see everyone! Though I do wish Colleen was able to come...next time she will! :D
