I just got the T-Mobile Android phone myself, and plan to write apps for it as soon as I dust off my non-existent Java skills and install the tools - and decide what to write.

At the moment I am cobbling up a web page to connect to my PayPal account so I can take plastic at TusCon if the need arises. But that will be able to run anywhere.

So what are you doing with the droid?

Well, I don't have it yet. But I have a fair amount of secure data storage and transfer stuff in Java that I could port, and I rather like the idea of a secure file-server in my pocket.
