Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for:

• Colleen and her continuing progress.
• Family of choice
• Professional opinions and friends' observations agreeing. (Even if I don't always like what they agree on.)
• A friend who doesn't hesitate to call foul when what I'm saying about myself goes beyond the bounds of reality as she sees it.
• The beginnings of self-knowledge and acceptance.
• tetralizard's help in sorting the health-care receipts.
• Everyone who's fought for our country, whether or not they came back as veterans. Yeah, it's a day late. Sorry about that.
• Songs that sometimes absolutely nail what I can't put properly into words myself.
