Strange morning

I've been up since about 5am. A little after 6 I took the Younger Daughter to the airport for her flight to SoCal to spend a week with her boyfriend and his family. I guess I fussed over her a little more than was strictly necessary.

I guess I'm not quite ready for this. *wry grin* I think I'm more comfortable with the long-distance boyfriend than I am with the idea of her being what she describes as "an aspiring model". She'll be 18 in three months.

Meanwhile, I managed to run the Samsung headset through the wash. Which saves me the trouble of looking for a replacement ear-loop; it broke a couple of days ago. Fortunately, I didn't like the UI much; I probably won't miss it much. Still grumpy-making, though.

And I apparently spoke too soon about the doxazocin working. Some, perhaps, but not fixing the main problem yet. Grump, indeed.

... and there's still a lot to do before year's end.
