  ~ 6pm Olympic opening ceremonies.  Probably well worth watching
    maybe on at 7:30; realtime coverage is on a channel we don't get.
    7:30 no opening ceremonies.  Grrrr.

Not all that good a day. Didn't get nearly as much done at work as I'd wanted to, and fell apart pretty badly in the evening for no particular reason. Feeling discouraged, distressed, stressed, depressed, and inadequate. Not good.

Managed to catch the opening ceremonies of the Olympics -- I usually end up missing them. Spectacular. A lot of inexplicable tension, probably left over from earlier in the evening. Very, very weird.

Not to mention the fact that I felt rather stupid because I hadn't realized until sometime in the afternoon that Monday is a holiday.

Snuggle helps a lot. Sometimes it's hard to remember that the day started with a rainbow during my commute.
