A good day, though it started out rather tense, frazzled, and a little depressed after signing up for a cheaper account at my old ISP, rahul.net. This will allow me to drop my current, expensive, account there; it's still a little pricy ($17/month), but I don't like having all my eggs in one basket at Dreamhost. I also did a lot of work on the gateway configuration, finally getting it up to approximately where the old one was in terms of functionality.

About 4pm Colleen threw me out of the house and told me to take a walk. She's smart that way -- it worked. My mood improved steadily over the course of the hour.

After that I made dinner: rice, arichokes, and yummy broiled lamb chops brushed with olive oil, fresh rosemary, and pressed garlic.

After that, the Olympics, with Colleen next to me and Naomi on IM. The exhibition skating was lovely -- I really prefer it to the competition; it's much more relaxed, and the skaters can concentrate on being expressive and entertaining rather than on their scores. I'm sorry I missed some of it at the beginning.
