  * up 7:30; W=195.4; drugs, nose, teeth; coffee

  * remember to take the van, go to AIN. 
  * move in; get new IP addresses for servers and workstations.
  & got the bugs out of the new easy install procedure.  Took a long time.
  ! (08:42:15 PM) ***me pets, somewhat absentmindedly.  A zombie mouse climbs
     up the back of his chair, sniffs hopefully at the bear's head, and goes
     away in search of actual brains to devour. 
    (08:48:11 PM) me: Moving my office was a really odd experience.  Still
     feeling slightly disoriented and a little bereft.  We'll probably move
     again just as I'm getting used to it.

A long, busy day, moving in to my new space (half a corner of a large room that holds the whole team, plus some old copiers, and...). And then debugging my server set-up procedure. I ended up staying until 8:30 or so, but the damned thing worked when I left it. (And still worked, flawlessly, when I created a couple of new accounts this afternoon.)

When it was over I found myself standing in the new area feeling disoriented and a little bereft. Not surprising. But the team is working really well, getting stuff done and having a good time doing it, now that we're all together.

I understand that the move to our new building may be as soon as a week from now.
