A good day. Very good, maybe. Some good IM with N. and D., another productive day at work, and a call to Callie (at N's suggestion) to sing. So, ... go me! And now I have one more person I can call and sing to.

Went out for lunch with 4 coworkers; we walked over to the little Mexican place (Sr. Jalapeño's); it occasionally surprises me how much faster I walk than most people, even though I don't consider 3mph particularly fast.

Oh, and sold another CD to a coworker.

FYI, you can call and sing to me any time I'm awake. You risk me wanting to sing along (or at least hum, since remembering lyrics is not exactly my strong point, FHD anyone?).

We are still trying to uncover the power cord to the portable stereo (aka "small boombox") that is our current sound system....can't find it! am suffering withdrawals, but grateful that I have a CD player in the car :-)

I'll try to keep that in mind, though I'm still looking for a good streaming audio solution. Phones don't work when two or more people want to listen in.

In a similar vein, I pretty much gave up on boomboxes when I realized that a laptop works just as well, if not better. I'm probably going to replace my present stereo, if it ever dies, with a small computer and maybe a touchscreen display.
