mdlbearLet's face it: I'm a procrastinator. I'd join the club, but I can never find time for the meetings (which are always late, anyway). Which explains a lot of things, including why my mail and news server is still running RedHat 5.1. It also explains why I'm heading back to work this morning.
Next Wednesday morning our group is doing its dry run for some upcoming demos and presentations. Unfortunately, part of my demo is still unfinished. I'm not the only one, but I'm the only one whose mother is arriving next Tuesday afternoon and leaving Thursday morning. And Monday includes a general staff meeting in the morning, and our group meeting in the afternoon. I'd really like to have something to show off by then...
Fortunately, most of the work is done; all that's left is finishing one subroutine, writing a couple of 1-line scripts, and roughing out a poster. With any luck I'll be done by early afternoon.
