Must have been another busy day. It was too hot for much of a walk, so why I walked to the sushi place and chose hot seafood soba for takeout is a bit of a mystery. Lots of yummy seafood, though, and it seemed to good job of breaking up my nasal congestion.

A very productive meeting in the afternoon. The rest of the day wasn't so productive, but ok.

I think I've linked to Low-Dose Naltrexone Reduces the Symptoms of Fibromyalgia before. A couple more under the cut.

Interestingly enough, tai chi (http://www.nytimes.com/2010/08/19/health/19taichi.html) also seems to relieve fibromyalgia.

Any form of regular, gentle movement seems to for some people -- yoga or gentle water aerobics are some which have worked for people I know. None of them, alas, works for me, at least at this stage. Any form of exercise only hurts like hell. I keep hoping, as I do it, for the day when it will start making things feel better instead of worse, but no luck.

IANAD, but I'm incorrigibly helpful - how about just floating in warm water, perhaps even in a flotation tank (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flotation_tank)? I would think that minimizing the effects of gravity on your body might make you feel better.

Also, have you met my friend Ricky Buchanan (http://www.notdoneliving.net/)?
