    flowers in the plastic cauldron to make better ones.  Still feel stupid.

  * Wonderful wedding; great potluck feast. We left early because
    Colleen was fading from being outside too much.  It's raining now
    (3:30ish) and I'm happy not to be driving home in it.  Colleen's snoozing
    in her chair.  Jilara asked me to bring my guitar.  I did, but never had a
    chance to use it (and probably wouldn't have even if we'd left later).
    She wanted The River, and Andrew had wanted Riverheart.  Another time.

Mostly a good day, despite some morning stupidity, a very tired evening, and a rice cooker that hadn't been cleaned in far too long. Mostly, we went to jilara and Andrew's wedding. It was a wonderful service, followed by a terrific potluck feast (only to be expected given J's history in the SCA and Civil War reenactment). Colleen did the flowers. I managed to leave the box with the bouquets at home, but the bucket of extra flowers and Colleen's mad flower power let her come up with even better ones on the spot.

We left after the cake but before the toasts; Colleen was fading rapidly at that point. We managed to beat the rain home, but only just. Colleen spent much of the afternoon dozing in her chair, and finally went to bed around 7:30.

I spent some of the evening drifting in and out of consciousness, but managed to get a fair amount done. The main things were extending our Orycon room stay back to Thursday and snagging an accessible room, which hadn't been available when I originally made the reservation. Or maybe hadn't been in the con's room block.

I also cancelled my account at rahul.net that I've had since dial-up days; I just couldn't see spending that much on a second hosting service that I simply don't use anymore. Really sorry to leave, though; Rahul had always been a good, hacker-friendly ISP, but he was never able to make the switch to DSL, and dreamhost is significantly cheaper as a host for much more storage and bandwidth.

I'm going to book room space tomorrow, since one needs to call the hotel directly and I prefer to do it on weekdays.
