I am not getting on a plane for North Carolina right now. Mom called just as I was getting up, to say that the storm on the East coast was making flights into RDU dicey for today. I looked and found that Southwest was allowing no-cost flight changes, so I booked a flight for tomorrow at 1pm. It'll be getting in pretty late (10:15), but I'm a lot less likely to get stuck in Chicago. Especially since it goes through Denver. (Of course, if it snows there tomorrow I'm hosed, but that doesn't look likely.)

We haven't had any snow east of the Rockies to worry about - don't worry about Snow in Denver.

Wave while you pass overhead. :)

I was at Logan this morning at 2AM so I'd be there in case anything happened to my 6AM flight. Sure enough, at 4:30AM it was canceled - along with another of the 2 remaining flights out today. I rebooked for tomorrow morning and eventually got home around 6:30 and slept until 12:30.

At 3:45PM they canceled my flight tomorrow morning, along with another of the 2 remaining ones. Jet Blue's call center is so busy they didn't even let me hold the first time I called - the system said to try calling back. The next time I called I was put on hold and that's where I've been for the past 30 minutes. It's not looking very good for anything other than *maybe* a flight in for Tuesday morning.

Good luck - I think your chances are much better than mine at this point.

No luck for me this time. Next available flight was on the 30th! I tried booking a bus to NYC followed by an Amtrak train but then buses were canceled. Fortunately the $200 on Amtrak was refundable but the bad part is I am definitely not going to make it down there.

Hope you have better luck.

Hey, in the remote chance you get stranded in Denver, give me a call at 720-982-6208. Here's hoping that doesn't happen, but I did hear a lot of flights were cancelled due to ripple effects.
