I got in a 3-mile walk by the airport yesterday at lunchtime. I saw that they had paved a short bike path, between two roads neither of which actually had a bike lane. I know why they did it -- it directs cyclists away from a nasty, narrow underpass. But why on Earth didn't they just pave the piece of the Guadalupe River Trail that would bypass the whole damned mess?
And the leather jacket worked wonderfully well against the cold, rainy weather. The walk improved my mood, but not very much.
I'm contemplating a new, 1920x1080, monitor. They're on sale pretty
cheaply. I also figured out how to make cdrdao burn CD-TEXT,
but now can't figure out how to test it. I thought iTunes reads it, but
it doesn't seem to. That, or it's still screwed up somehow.
Links under the cut, as usual.
