Well, I finished duplicating the Tempered Glass CD. It was a very lightly-attended Wednesday night; the second in a row. WTF?

Mood continues somewhere south of good. Now that most of the stress is gone, it's not clear why. Work? Politics?

Lots of links.

After a period of prolonged stress, especially stress on multiple fronts from multiple sources, it's actually fairly normal for it to take a while for mood to equalize again.

It's kind of like having a jar of change on your desk. Every relatively normal day some number of coins get put in. Particularly good days put in more coins. Stressful days and bad days pull coins out, frequently more than would be put in on good days. So you've had a series of days which takes coins out instead of putting them in. And now you're putting coins back in, but it's slow, and minor disappointments reduce your coin total for the day, not by much, but a little. If the stress continues to be gone and you're still depressed next week, then start looking for other sources.

Re: Wednesday nights, in my case it's a combination of work and preparation for Consonance. I'm behind on my con-prep, and I keep finding myself exhausted after pouring mucho energy into the day job. Mind you, it's a good day job; I'm hoping that somehow there'll be funding to make it last more than three months.
