Baycon was fun

Along with the concert I was on four panels: "Writing the perfect filk", "Deconstructing SCO", and "Good vs. religious". The last one was the most fun, largely because Diana Paxson was such a good moderator. As usual I didn't get to many of the panels that looked interesting, but I did get to a few.
I didn't spend much in the dealer's room -- 3 CDs, 4 books, and a pair of Cthulhu slippers (for those times when you're tired of picking the lesser of two evils in the shoe store). I went to the art show, which was excellent, and avoided getting a bidder number for fear of using it.
Mostly I enjoyed the conversations (including the LJ BOF session) and the singing. That's really what I go to cons for these days.
