It didn't feel like a very productive day, and I was definitely pretty sleepy both in the early afternoon and after dinner. But the afternoon sleepiness came after a 2.5 mile walk, so I'm not going to complain too much. But it made for a somewhat unproductive afternoon.

After looking at Ross for a cheap tennis bag (and coming up empty), and online for comparisons, I went ahead and ordered the Wilson sling bag for Plink. There are a couple of alternatives, but that's by far the least expensive one I've found, and a good fit for the guitar.

Lots of links. The nine circles of IT hell is good -- I've been in many of them -- but the best has to be the very encouraging First lady of Iceland climbs security fence to join protesters. I mean, how cool is that?

The YouTube link doesn't connect to the specific video, just to the YouTube main page. However, the YouTube search function works just fine ;-)

They had to have had one mic aimed at each performer - they were too well balanced to have all been recorded through one mic. (And they did a good job of suppressing most of the room echo.) The "foot percussion" is fascinating. Too bad I don't understand rapidly sung Quebecois French...

You can see the vocal mics in the video; I'm not sure what they're using on the instruments, but I assume something. Yeah; the foot percussion is terrific.

I have trouble viewing YouTube videos at all on this steam-powered (not steampunk!) computer, which is probably why I didn't see all the mics.

Foot percussion seems to be something akin to tap-dancing while sitting down - a truly remarkable art ;-)
