• First steps back from dark places.
• A sense of humor, even if I still don't use it as much as I ought to.
• Blue cheese and apples.
• Open source VoIP software.
• The ability to write well and persuasively (though it remains to be seen just how persuasive that was).
• Praise from people who know what they're talking about.
• Whimsy.
