A reasonably productive day -- I spent most of it working on the job search and related matters. Major work on the resume and portfolio, and put together a new business card suitable for handing to prospective employers. Which the personal "hacker/songwriter" card isn't particularly.

I also got the wheels in motion to receive my Ricoh pension (it'll start June 1^st) -- that will go toward paying down the debt -- and got in touch with the outplacement program that Ricoh is paying for.

Good day. No walk, though. Need to take more walks.

    x 4/20 if I don't take vacation as a lump sum (~10K pretax)  
    * Let Mary know by Monday.
    -> taking vacation as a lump, so pension starts a month sooner.  $2k in my
       pocket that I can use, plus about $5K extra for this month's bills.

vistaprint.com is a good site for business cards; if you avoid the upsells you get free cards for the cost of postage - they have some nice designs, or you can use them to print your own but I can't remember if that costs extra.

Not sure it has any real advantage over glabels and an inkjet printer. The edges come out a little cleaner, but is that really important?
