This weekend's main event was Conflikt. The music was amazing. I may have time to put together a con report.

Colleen bought a catnip tribble in the dealer's room. Unfortunately, my poor little brain noticed that "catnip tribble" has the same scansion as "Plastic Jesus". The cats haven't destroyed it yet.

As has become usual, I didn't do much singing. "When I Go" and "The Rambling Silver Rose" Saturday night was about the extent of it. That's ok; I mostly go to cons to meet up with friends (which I also didn't do all that much of) and listen to music (which I did lots of).

  % lovely dream.  We'd bought the top of a small mountain, and were planning the house we
    were going to build on it.  There was a deck and a small pond lined with tiles.  It
    may have been a dance camp at some point.
    The house was finished, only now it was next to a large lake that had apparently been
    a stone quarry.  It was on a hillside and looked rather like three somewhat different
    tiny houses stuck together, joined by a huge two- or three-story cylinder of
    multi-colored glass - squares and circles of mostly blues and greens alternating with
    clear sections.  Beautiful.

  * Something is distinctly bolixed up on Cygnus -- probably the window manager hung.
    Time for a reboot.
  * Dinner in the bar with Kat and Alex.  About a third less than Spencer's, and a menu
    that includes things like burgers, seared ahi, and fish and chips.
  * Colleen gave the cats the catnip tribble she bought in the dealer's room yesterday.
