Today I'm thankful for

• Peace and quiet.
• Kids around the house. (Note that this and the previous item are mostly mutually exclusive in time.)
• Cats, both two- and four-legged.
• Leftovers for breakfast.
• Public transit.
• An operating system with free upgrades.

I finished translating the passage for this coming week's Hebrew Bible reading group Numbers 23: 12-30. In verse 21 it says that HaShem has no regard for evil in Israel, does not see trouble in Israel. May your troubles be so easily overlooked.
