Rough week.

Low point: asking for help on the financial trainwreck. Maxing out another credit card Monday kind of drove it home. Naomi is of the opinion that I need a keeper. She's right. She's also of the opinion that I'm worth it; this is less obvious but I've learned that she's usually right, so I guess I'll take her word for it.

High point: going out with Naomi to see A Chorus Line last night.

Adventures along the way: the Shellshock bug (quickly patched on the systems I use regularly), and updating the household's random laptops. We (ok, mostly I) have a *lot* of old laptops. I remember when a gigabyte was a lot of disk.

If I managed to read through the HTML error properly... if seeing a credit counselor is scary, I'd suggest trying to do it as soon as possible. Once it's over with, it won't be scary anymore, so the longer you wait, the more time you spend scared--at least that's how it seems to me.

Yeah; already in contact with credit counseling; phone appointment on Tuesday. Currently going through the bills, some of which I haven't wanted to face for a while.

We had to get help with credit cards at one point, too, when we were facing some tight times. Waiting until things become totally unmanageable rarely turns out well, so it sounds like the advice you are getting is sound.

Off Centaur? Wow, that brings back a few memories, though I was only a customer.

Give Elimloth a wave for me? I remember the alt.nomads/alt.kalbo setup quite fondly, but apparently she only allows friends to post to her livejournal and I suspect I'm not, and don't want to impose by inviting myself in when she may not remember me.

Personally, I quite like Scrum, but I suspect we're not doing it quite 'right'. Among other things, it lets me know what's going on in the company.
