Well, memtest86+ reliably finds the bad bits (in the second half, which explains the observed behavior), so I guess it's off to Fry's for a replacement.

Sunday might not be a good day. I mean, I have Mayhem comming over & all, and I don't know if she's spending the night. If no, then yes that will work. Otherwise, I'm not sure.
