Date: 2015-02-01 08:35 pm (UTC)I remember first reading about that tradition on the usenet pet rabbit forum, back when I lived with a couple of them. Oddly, this month I actually thought about it and said it.
I do object to one lucky rabbit superstition. In my opinion, a rabbit's foot is only lucky when it is firmly attached to a living rabbit.
