The two big items this week are my new song, and the apparent success of L-tryptophan in treating my depression. The song is definitely a keeper. I think it's probably too early to tell for sure about the tryptophan.

Music was big even without the song -- the week was bracketed by the last day of Conflikt at the far end, and last night's Tricky Pixie concert at the near end. Both were amazing.

The Wolfling recorded our debut performance of Travelers: you'll find her videos on YouTube. Watch Where The Heart Is and Windward. It came off surprisingly well for a brand-new song.

  : Luggage note:  the 10" tablet fits nicely into Plink's case.  Probably so will the
    Firefly, at which point I can say goodbye to songbooks for travel, pretty much.
  : luggage note:  Next con, *definitely* take Rolly (or something similar).  if it didn't
    have a hard bottom it would be easier to fit under an airplane seat.
  * Sang Windward for Colleen.  Choked up on the last verse.  OK, it's a keeper.
  : Tried something new writing Windward -- I copied the original into the destination
    file and worked from there.  It worked brilliantly, since it started out with all the
    chords in the right place.
  : At the Bone Walker concert.  They're having slight feedback problems, but it's good.
    Oh.  My.  Yeah, it's good.
  : Stringapaloosa, which is Amy, Sunnie, and Betsy making it all up as they go along.  
    WOW.  Just... wow.  Now they're adding Alex.  Pure magic.  Now adding Sooj on drum.
  * Sang Where the Heart Is and Windward in the Smoked Salmon, with Naomi.  Well received.
    N. swan song'ed on Bigger On the Inside, and Colleen and I left shortly thereafter.

    % so I lost a pound and a quarter over the weekend in spite of hotel food.  Good.

  * 15min: repaired the cat tree; the post had showed up over the weekend.
  * 15min:  tried the Pageflip Firefly -- works; there was some trouble in the beginning
    which I blame on the tablet.  Contacted their support email re: the missing battery
    compartment cover.

  : Giselle didn't bother remaking our bed.  grump.
