Not too bad, I guess. Made some decent progress with work. Several more dives into tiny houses, and found open source design software that we can all use: Sweet Home 3D.

Somewhat relatedly, I finally tracked down and finished The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing. It's a skill that's going to be useful in a few years when we downsize, though I don't think it's entirely applicable.

I also installed a cat5 cable from the demarc in the basement to the corner of the living room where I keep my computers. The idea is to move the DSL router here and have a much more reliable connection to it.

My weight has been creeping up -- don't like that.

apparently the original boxes were recycled (housekept) by mistake.

: Net's been up and down, but we seem to have a good dialtone. Drilled a hole in the
living room floor in my office corner. Do not, unfortunately, have 50ft of phone wire
at the moment. Temporary fix would probably be to put the modem downstairs and run
Cat5. That'll fix it until I can go out and buy some 2-pair. Alternatively, I could
find my big spool of Cat5, and waste 3/4 of the pairs. That would be more work, so I
think I'll take the easy way out tomorrow morning.

Wish I'd taken the rack out of the closet in the Starport before we sold it.

demarc, and a coupler upstairs. -> coupler + pigtail -> sacrificed a CAT-5 patch cord
Use the diagram below to translate between the two schemes. The black and yellow
pair is normally spare and available to install a second phone line.

Looks like white-blue / green is in the hole closest to the test jack.
