Disgusting piece of crud

For a couple of days now, our DVD player wasn't responding to its remote control. Swapping batteries didn't work. Tonight, about five minutes into Clash of the Titans, it started freezing up. Power-cycled it, and now everything works again. Damn thing needed to be rebooted.

Made by JVC; not clear who made the software, but Microsoft wouldn't be surprising.
