Thankful Thursday

Today, in no particular order, I am grateful for

• Progress on the job front -- a couple of phone interviews, and more on Tuesday. I might pull this off after all.
• Singing lessons.
• Safe places.
• Cats.
• Packing completed in time, and movers coming tomorrow.
• Colleen. Especially Colleen being tolerant of my cooking disasters.
• Family.

N and her kids are moving -- have moved -- back to Seattle to get access to the intensive health services that they need. (Not my story to tell.)

"Thankful" really only applies to getting the packing done in time, and N having found a suitable house to rent; nobody is happy about the fact that they had to move in the first place, but a commute from Freeland to Seattle simply isn't feasible. We'll be together a few times a month; it will have to do until we can get back together permanently.

We're still a family.
