mdlbearToday's FAWM song -- only the third this month, so obviously there's no way I'll "win", but that's okay -- is We'll Go No More A-Roving. This is the Martian rover song I've been trying to write for the past two weeks. It finally started coming together a few day ago when it connected with "the Jolly Beggar" (lyrics and video at the link).
It ended up surprisingly upbeat -- or maybe not surprising considering the tune, which is both upbeat and catchy, and has been my earworm for most of the last week. I'll probably put up the audio tomorrow; you can get a good idea of the tune by hitting the link above for lyrics and video of "The Jolly Beggar".
