Colleen is Home!

She's home!! She was discharged from Prestige Rehab around 3pm, after which we (me, Colleen, and N) went out for Chinese on the way home.

The medical supply place delivered a wheelchair, but they only had a 22" in stock, not the 20" we ordered. The 22" doesn't fit through the bedroom door. (I'm not certain a 20" will, either.) We're using the scooter, which does fit -- I tested it. We're going to have to do some rearranging if we want it possible to drive the scooter into the bathroom. Looks like the power chair would fit, too -- I wasn't expecting that. But the place that was supposed to fix it never got back to me.

This still has the potential to be a disaster.

But she's home -- that's the important thing.

Congratulations and huzzah! I remember how happy I was to get out of the hospital and go home and sleep in my own bed, this time last year! *HUGS* for everybody!

Thanks! (The furniture rearranging isn't something I really want to do; it may be necessary to provide maneuvering room for a scooter. Hopefully not for a while because the shelves on the wall at the head of the bed are laid out to serve as a headboard, so moving the bed would have a substantial ripple effect.
