Mixed bag, but on reflection it appears to have been mostly okay, though it didn't always seem so at the time. Things like Colleen's care are going much more smoothly; not entirely clear why but it may be due to increased mindfulness on my part. On the other hand, more of it is needed, especially since she got herself a nasty cut on the leg; apparently from something on the wheelchair she was transferring out of on the way home from the doctor's office. On the gripping hand, her labs (as of Monday) are still looking good.

On the fourth hand, I've spent much of the week fighting network configuration issues after trying to add another router. OpenWRT's WiFi client mode, in particular, is an ongoing exercise in frustration. It was working fine until I tried to make it connect to an upgraded version of the (DD-WRT) access point it had been connected to. Growf. (And worked fine with it again, since I hadn't upgraded that one yet, just swapped in an upgraded router with the same configuration. Go figure.)

And (I seem to be out of hands at this point) I've re-started my singing lessons, which is a Good Thing. I've missed them.

    .254 (the GL router); it may have been caused by an interface with no gateway listed.

    -> also auto gateway on 251's client bridge interface.  Needs to be manual because no
       DHCP.

I like it that some people still remember and use the expression "On the gripping hand."
