That Squeeee you didn't hear is me, because my favorite filksong, "Ship of Stone", finally won a Pegasus Award!

I'm so glad "Lucy On The Line" won!

So am I. technoshaman told me that it was performed last night at the Pegasus concert by Jen Midkiff, who had first heard it here at RainbowCon 3.

"Ship of Stone" is one of the songs I can't sing without my voice breaking, along with "Hope Eyrie" (and "The Cool Green Hills Of Earth", which was my closing theme song when I was a country and western DJ - the world's first science-fiction country-and-western song"). But I probably couldn't sing "Lucy On The Line" without breaking up, either. It demonstrates that heroism mainly means doing your job, no matter what's happening while you do it.

Congratulations to the winners, and I agree that a Pegasus for "Ship of Stone" was long overdue.

But line 7 and line 1 are the same. There were 6 awards.
