This week has gone by very quickly. I'm not sure where I was in that process. I don't think the fizzled snow warnings, earlier in the week, helped. Colleen rescheduled her medical appointments. It also didn't help that Christopher Tolkien died on Wednesday.

I've been singularly unmotivated lately. A little music, lots of reading as usual, but no writing to speak of. In particular, I didn't write about a couple of articles about how to write a book in Emacs, or using GitHub as a blogging host. I also didn't write about the Thwaites and Pine Island glaciers in Antarctica. (Links on Saturday; I intend to post about that later today.)

I did write about yet another vulnerability in Windows 10 that you need to patch.

My views of Christopher Tolkien are mixed, but I'm not going to be one of those people who cheer when someone they have disagreements with dies.
