Another bad week. Worse than last week. Not looking forward to next week, either. I am not okay.

I'm not even linking to a fraction of it. See [personal profile] solarbird and [personal profile] marahmarie for more, and that's not even counting the impending climate catastrophe. Not to mention Colleen's health issues and a housemate hassle.

On the plus side, I finally got my taxes filed. So there's that.

This past week in England, some lockdown restrictions were eased, although as usual the government are merely issuing guidance and everyone else has to figure how the heck to implement it without risking more lives. Primary schools were supposed to reopen for some pupils, but many schools can't do so safely, and many parents don't want to send their kids back.

Our government finger-wagged at all the people who joined in protests in support of Black Lives Matter here in the UK. Possibly because Britain has its own issues with racism, and they don't want that brought up along with all the other calls for change...

I've resumed daily walks, for the first time in three months, and that has helped clear my head somewhat. But the fact that we're governed by a bunch of incompetents whose primary goal now appears to be to stay in power at all costs, yeah that ain't helping.
