Power outages can be hard to deal with. We replaced our gas stove recently, and I didn't push hard to switch to induction partly to avoid having to get an electrician in during the pandemic and partly because a gas stove (and kitchen matches) means we can use the stovetop during electrical outages.
We do have UPSes for the CPAPs and some battery chargers for phones. John has a gas-powered generator, but we don't usually use it unless the power's out for most of a day.
Also John speaks well of the lithium-ion jump starter he got a while ago. Does need to be charged, of course.... ;)
