Thankful Thursday

Darned if I know what happened to last week's gratitude post; apparently I blew past Thursday completely. Possibly because of this. Anyway, today I am grateful for...

• A well-stocked larder in advance of tomorrow's winter storm watch.
• Eleven months worth of menu planning (mostly by S) and once-a-week grocery shopping from an actual list (by L'), which is why the larder is usually kept well-stocked.
• Kitty-cuddles.
• The variant of Murphy's Law that makes an emergency less likely to happen if you go out and buy stuff to prepare for it.
• Snow that I don't have to shovel. (And a snow shovel in case we get some that I do have to shovel -- see above.)
• Our gas cooktop. (The oven and fireplace have electric igniters, unfortunately, and the heating and hot water are electric. Grump.)
