Colleen still hasn't come home. Is that sufficient as a summary of the week? I think it probably is.

Colleen still isn't strong enough to come home; the physical therapy team agrees. (Maybe it was the other way around at first, but by my visit Wednesday evening it was all pretty much decided.) PT said that she might need three more weeks; I still hope that she'll only need one more.

Meanwhile, I've been making some progress with organizing: I've put up a new set of shelves in the garage (which required moving several boxes and a couple of plastic bins, most of which ended up on the new shelves), and another set in the house, under the kitchen counter where we keep the recycling. (It is hoped that we'll be able to put less-frequently-used appliances on the next shelf up.)

Tuesday was somewhat eventful -- I took Molly down to Seattle for a long-delayed recall repair and 30k service. The "service", such as it was, consisted of an inspection that didn't turn up anything that needed to be done this time, so the whole thing cost me two ferry fares and about 200 KWh. I hung out with N's family while I was waiting. I'll need to have the tires rotated in November. Did I mention that I love my electric car?

I think it was probably when I got tangled up with the seat belt getting out of N's car atthe dealership that a lens fell out of my glasses. I didn't notice until Wednesday evening after my visit with Colleen.

wall. A few interesting items found, including a 14" round electric skillet, a glass
fireplace screen (from yesterday), and a Logitech trackman (presumably G's). All
    in (previously-)unopened boxes.

~ The wine shelf arrived... and it's ever so slightly a different size :P
-> so pairing it with two regular shelves won't work. putting it on top works.
The clips are slightly different, too. Blarg. Might work with a regular shelf
just below it, or with two close together in the middle
  * Define `make save` in MakeStuff -- like push only uses --amend and --force-with-lease
to replace a previous save (if possible) rather than adding a commit.
