Missing skill

Date: 2021-09-29 11:52 am (UTC)Ok.. google tor browser. Download and install that. [it's a web browser based on chrome that uses the Tor network, which is an anonymous way of browsing the internet, mainly used for activists and some no-goodniks.]
Then download and install deluge, it's a torrent downloader. The default settings on that are fine, although you will need to tell it where to download stuff to. To do that, click the 'Edit' button in the menu bar at the top of the deluge window, and click preferences. That'll call up a dialogue window, in the left-hand side, click on downloads and the first thing in that menu is the 'Download to' which if you click on folder icon button next to it, it will allow you select what folder you want to download to.
Once you've done that, use the tor browser to go to https://thepiratebay0.org/ and look for what you want. A word of caution, their search engine is very picky, use wildcards, the * symbol to cover variations. [also, obviously either use adblocker or don't click on any of the ads. This is wild country here.]
Left Click on the little horseshoe or magnet link symbol of the torrent you want, select 'copy link address'
Then go into deluge, click the plus symbol at the top left-hand corner to add a torrent. That will pull up a dialogue box 'add torrents' click the 'URL' button and paste the link address you copied from the website and click ok and then the add button at the bottom right corner of dialogue box.
and that'll pretty much do it.
