Despite a string of very rough nights because I stupidly left my CPAP on Whidbey, a lot of TMJ trouble, the first of two 2-hour deep cleaning appointments at the dentist, and the anniversary of the Challenger disaster, I seem to have made it through the week. If not okay, then at least not not okay. (Okay-ness appears to be non-binary.)

Adding to the overall strangeness was the Lamplighters' streamed performance of Gilbert and Sullivan's The Grand Duke, from 2015. It's performed very rarely -- 2015 is the Lamplighters only performance of it -- and is the only G&S operetta that Colleen and I never got to see live. She would have loved it.

There are two new posts on GoingSideways.blog -- Trip Diary: Where Are All the Elephants? and Trip Diary: So This Is the Delta (which answers the previous question). I am, gradually, getting WordPress under control, but it's difficult.

I use Bitwarden now for my passwords, it does everything I need and then some. I've used both LastPass and 1Password in the past, but I soured on LastPass after they stiffed multi-device users to get more paid subscribers, and 1Password decided to switch to an Electron app.

The Grand Duke may be the only G&S opera I've never seen a performance of. Except for Thespis, of course, but nobody alive has seen it, aside from reconstruction attempts.
