I didn't really notice much going on last week, except that my TMJ problems are still going on, and putting together several posts for GoingSideways.blog. It's rather tedious because there doesn't seem any way to script going from an email with the body text and a list of Google Photo links, to a WordPress draft. I've automated as much as I could of the setup -- making a file for the email and a directory for the images. Then it's all point and click. But I can usually get into flow for an hour or so. Having the middle mouse button bound to "open link in new tab" helps a lot.

Very disappointing deep cleaning appointment at the dentist -- I need three fillings and a (replacement) crown. Way worse than usual, but I missed a few cleanings during lockdown, and generally let myself go on top of that. I could blame Colleen's illness and grieving over her death, but I don't think either of those really has anything to do with it. Would make a decent excuse, though.

In links, there are a couple of VR-related movies that I really want to see. From Tuesday, there's Joe Hunting's We Met in Virtual Reality (reviewed on Engadget), and from Saturday there's Belle (2021)(reviewed in The Guardian. The first one is a documentary, "filmed" entirely in VRChat. Neither of them seems particularly dark. If I want dark I'll look at the news. Mostly I don't.
