Today I am grateful...

• For not living in Ukraine.
• For not having caught COVID 19. Particular thanks to RNA vaccines.
• For things that, while bad, are not yet disastrously bad. "Yet" being the operative word here. My TMJ, for example. I'll take what temporary safety I can get.
• Along those lines, on this International Transgender Day of Visibility, that people like my son are still comparatively safe in some parts of the US. It's not saying much, though. It will get worse.
• For that matter, the climate isn't nearly as bad as it's going to be.
• Pink Floyd -- the flamingo that excaped a Kansas zoo 17 years ago and fled to Texas. NO thanks to Texas for much of anything else. See above.

Yeah; I know. This is all rather back-handed. Best I can manage today. Stay safe.
