N and I spent Friday and Saturday (joined by c on Saturday) at the Anacortes Boat and Yacht Show, looking at boats that we could possibly live aboard -- possibly in the (houseboat-friendly) Netherlands. Living on a houseboat is something I've dreamed of since my high school days. It may actually become possible some day. That doesn't keep it from being extremely scary.

Staying in the US, however, is becoming even scarier. See, for example, this Huffington Post article. Unless some miracle happens in the next two years that keeps the Party of Tr*mp out of power, it is going to get that bad. I am not optimistic.

Right. I set today's mood as "afraid", but that doesn't seem strong enough. Getting out of bed in the morning is becoming increasingly difficult.
