Thankful Thursday

Today I am grateful for...

• Not having COVID-19. (See previous post.) Given the circumstances (fully masked in a grocery store) the chance of having been infected was almost negligible, but the negative test results were nice to have.
• Gabapentin as a pain reliever for cats who have had teeth extracted. (I will not go into detail about how much was extracted from my credit card, but that was also painful.)
• Getting through a week of painful memories without much damage (I think).
• Cloudy days. Especially when driving due west, too close to the equinox. Also the hat with a wide floppy brim that I use because cars' sun visors are inadequate.
• Having a good enough supply of KN95 masks that I can offer them to visitors who forgot theirs.

We gave gabapentin to our various cats for differing reasons. Honor needed dental work, Mac & Morrie had lymphoma, and Achilles is really stressed about getting in a carrier now for some unknown reason. I was on it for migraine prophylaxis.
