Today I am grateful for...

• Getting a few tasks done, some of which required a great deal more yak-shaving than usual. NO thanks for $G and geofencing, and there are many more yaks to shave in my immmediate future.
• Meetings in zoom-space.
• G. K. Chesterton, even though finding that box has led me down a lot of rabbit-holes.
• Chocolate cake with raspberry jam and whipped cream filling, which G lucked into just in time for my birthday last week.
• Large cheap plastic glasses just the right shape for barfing into, and having the good sense to keep one on my night stand. Thanks, too, for not needing it very often, and never having needed the one on my desk.
