Thankful Thursday

- Hot ginger tea. Ginger.
- Warm things in general. I always feel cold in the evening; sometimes I can't stop shivering. Anxiety, I think, not air temperature.
- A good rehearsal tonight.
- Finding the box with my TBR shelf. And the associated rabbit holes.
NO thanks for anxiety, procrastination, and my lamentable lack of organization.
Ginger is the BEST

1 Tbs / 15 ml dried ginger (I use Rishi, but any bulk spice is great).
3 cardamom pods smashed once in the mortar & pestle (just to crack 'em open).
1 packet of True Lemon crystalized lemon juice
Add 20 oz / 500 mil boiling water, steep 3 - 5 minutes.
If you've got fresh or bottled lemon juice, forget the True Lemon and simply add 1 tsp / 5 ml liquid after steeping.
Cardamom adds nifty sweetness.
