from MillCon was somewhat grueling. But it was a good con, and we gave a good concert set. Worth it.

We then spent the rest of this week working on scratch tracks.

I'm too sleepy to hunt down good links -- not a whole lot anywaay because see above about working. (I'm too old for this. Nevertheless...)

    -> arrive home ~1900, (with a one hour time zone difference)
       so it's a 9-hour trip, by one timezone East, two taxis, and three trains.
    hotel-> Peterborough station -> St. Pancras -Eurostar->Brussels->Rotterdam -> home

  : in retrospect, taking Lilac in its then-current semi-configured state was a mistake
    It is now mostly functional.  Turns out I hadn't synced bookmarks, though.

    the mixer, but so far can't get it to play anything.
    -> then turned it off, and now Audacity can't open it.  Growf.
  * Deal with R's missed student loan payment  (autopay not on)

  : I would change my bedding -- which needs it _desperately_, except cats.
    -> Then I had Bronx in my lap while doing the morning browser tabs.
    -> the bamboo pillowcase worked very well as a lap pad
    -> I was then able to carry him over to the bed when I had to get up.  Been a while
       since I had a cat I could carry.

    Our "scratch track" on Life Cycle... may be good enough to ship -- I don't sing on it,
    and m+N recorded it without guitar, so I can add that later.
    * singing: toolmakers, live-cycle..., millenniums-dawn (got only one poor take on the
      latter because I kept messing up.  Consequence of having too much to think about.
  : Audacity stubbornly refuses to _play_ audio!  WTF?
    -> turns out there's an INCONSPICUOUS _volume slider_ built into the playback VU meter!
