At some point today I will undoubtedly attempt a Rabbit Hole Day post, but when the real world contains things like the Hello Kitty MP3 player (from Engadget by way of sbisson and electronic scoring for cockfights (from the US Patent Office by way of rowanf), I'm not entirely certain it's necessary.

Ruthie would *love* that mp3 player. Nevermind the fact that it only has 128 megs of ram and I just paid $20 more than that for a 1gig shuffle...
