A good morning

Since we weren't able to pry ourselves loose for a Valentine's Day dinner over the weekend, and didn't want to fight the crowds on Monday, the flower_cat and I had brunch at the Mini Gourmet this morning. This is a delightful little coffeeshop that's been in our neighborhood since the dawn of time (or in any case before we moved in 28 years ago); for some unguessable reason this is the first time we'd tried it. Not the last; it got immediately added to our short list.

Back at work (a little late at 10am), I've handed in my tech reports to rowanf, slogged through my email and web news, and reviewed mr_kurt's executive summary. After lunch, starting a patent search and brewing up a little more strong crypto.

Knowing the neighborhood as I do, growing up one street over with Jen, I don't recall ever seeing that establishment. Where is it located, that way next time I am up, I can try to dine there as well.

It's at the corner of Bascom and Moorpark, kitty-corner from SJ City College. It shares its parking lot with a tiny white shack labeled "Cute Flowers". Open 24 hours. I'd point you at its website, but it doesn't seem to have one.

ah yes, I have eaten there a couple of times... very cute place, and very yummy breakfast. atre there alone mostly. took Aaron there once I believe when he was a babe still. *the happy memories flood my mind*
