flower_cat update: final release

The flower_cat's home!! Got over to the hospital this morning and there she was, sitting up with a partly-eaten bowl of oatmeal in front of her, looking and feeling much better, and sounding like our usual Flower_Cat instead of a pain-wracked kitten. She really needed that last night in the hospital, though.

Still high as a kite on happy pills -- don't expect her to do any driving this week. Visitors at the Starport will, of course, be greatly appreciated.

Saterday afternoon

Our new mattress got delivered around 3:00; the flower_cat has been making good use of it for the last forty minutes or so. She's not nearly recovered, and is still having trouble keeping anything but water down. I'm tired (after spending all morning wrestling with the bed); I'll probably go to sleep early again.

I'm having a lot of trouble focussing. This is a chronic problem with me, but it's been much worse the last week or so; possibly due to worrying about the Cat. Anyway, it's a plausible explanation, so I'm sticking to it.

I'm going to have to take more time off work this week than I expected; fortunately I have lots of vacation time saved up. Since the Cat can't drive -- and probably won't be able to all week -- and can't do housework, guess who gets to run all the errands.
