Father's Day plans

Today I'm taking the kids to see Revenge of the Sith. As I told them last night at dinner (I took the family out for Mexican), it seems particularly appropriate because [deep-voice]I am your father.[/deep-voice] Of the four of us, only chaoswolf has seen it, and flower_cat doesn't want to, so it seemed like a good thing to do on Father's Day.

I never did come up with an idea of what I want as a Father's Day present. What I really want is impossible, and anything else would be expensive and not really necessary. I don't wear ties. Maybe I can get the kids to work in the yard with me? Ha!

This is one of those days when I miss Dad the most.

Father's Day update

Seems they're handing out special Father's Day posters at the theatre today -- picture of Darth Vader with the caption: "WHO'S YOUR DADDY?" Took the kids out to lunch at Burger Thing (their pick) and somehow acquired the title "Darth Ursus" (it was either that or "Darth Fractal"). The chaoswolf appears to be my apprentice, but neither of them appears to be willing to learn the ways of the Source and become a hacker like their father. Oh well.
